Frame for Batyrbek

By | Targeted assistance

Frame for Batyrbek A month ago Indira, an inhabitant of Kyzylorda, turned to the Saby foundation with a request for assistance in acquiring of rehabilitation equipment for her two-year old son with the diagnosis of infantile cerebral palsy. With a hope to put a small Batyrbek on his legs she had to travel around the whole country to get the required treatment. But all the efforts of doctors may turn useless without special rehabilitation facilities.

Understanding how difficult it is for the woman to cope with the disease, and how hard it is for her to look at her son who is suffering from pain, the management of the Saby foundation has decided to support the family and render the required assistance. With charitable contributions received by means of QIWI payment terminals we were able to collect the required amount for a good thing. An inclinable standing frame “KAMKOR” developed on the basis of Swiss equipment and a special deck chair for children with the diagnosis of infantile cerebral palsy were delivered to Kyzylorda some days ago.

We hope that the acquired equipment will make the life of the child and his relatives easier, and a smile will appear on their faces much more often.

The Good Cause Cannot be a Little One

By | Targeted assistance

The Good Cause Cannot be a Little One Dear friends, we said time and again “thank you” for all the charitable contributions that you transferred to the account of “Saby” Foundation by means of QIWI payment terminals.

Amount, seeming a small at first sight, in fact, can do great things. At this time, raised money from your donations help to give a targeted aid to the young native of Petropavlovsk, disabled person of group I, suffering from an incurable disease – multiple sclerosis.

To keep the muscles at work and not to take the seat into wheelchair once and for all, the guy needed daily physical activity. We bought for him special weight bench. The good news is the fact that the disease did not break the young man moral. He has literary talent, and even published a book of his poems and prose. For his creative work our Foundation presented the writer a laptop.

So you, my friends, by transferring for charitable uses 200, 500, 1000 tenge, changed life of the human and significantly improved it!

Remember, each tenge is important! After all, as the saying runs, “every little bit helps ..”

Our Nikita is 25!

By | Targeted assistance

How fast time passes by. Already ten years have gone since the time, when our Foundation got acquainted with Nikita Bazolev, a physically challenged person since his childhood, who suffers from severe form of ICP. Annually Saby Foundation renders financial assistance to his family in the form of medicaments, food stuff, and household chemicals. The set is formed with a view to make provision for the family for several months.

This year Nikita celebrates his anniversary, he is already twenty five. Coming the birthday boy home, we found him reading the Bible. Hard physical malady hides the young man’s soul of incredibly high moral and great vivacity reflected in his bright eyes.

We hope that we will celebrate many anniversaries with Nikita and every meeting will be full of tenderness and hope.

Together We Will Help Arianna

By | Targeted assistance

A few days ago Saby Charitable Foundation was addressed to help a little girl from Almaty. From the letter we learnt a very sad story about a charming baby, born in a young family of the Tsarevs ten years ago, given also a beautiful name – Arianna. The girl grew healthy, clever and active to the joy of her parents. But when Arianna was 4 years old, during an outdoor recreation, she was bitten by a mite. The parents immediately brought her to the hospital but the encephalitogen, which appeared later, for some reason was not found at that moment.

Since then, the time for the Tsarevs was divided between before and after the fatal day. One more year had passed before the doctors made the final conclusion – encephalitis of enteroviral etiology. The girl’s relatives began facing numerous problems, they were more often told unknown medical terms meaning complications as a consequence of the untimely treatment of the infection. The girl’s health is getting worse and worse, every day she suffers, almost does not move, see and speak.

During six years of an unequal struggle with the disease the family spent all savings and sold their property. Besides, not being able to overcome such psychological stress, the couple broke up. The mother was left quite alone and being struck by such sorrow is not able to cover expenses for the treatment.
Our Foundation could not remain indifferent to Arianna’s fate. And though the approved projects of the organization do not involve rendering of targeted support, the management of Saby Charitable Foundation decided to allocate a sum of money sufficient at least for one stage of the girl’s rehabilitation treatment.

We wish the mother not to lose courage and, having strung herself up, to pass this difficult life examination and win.

For those who want to help little Arianna, we post the bank account number specially opened for money transfers or you can address our employees by the contacts given on the website. We thank you very much in advance!

The Help Which Is Needed

By | Targeted assistance

By an old tradition, employees of Saby Charitable Foundation pay a visit to the Bazolevs family. We got acquainted with them many years ago at a children’s party held at the S. Begalin Municipal Library, where a teenage boy was brought by a wheelchair by his grandmother.

Since that time Nikita has grown up but a severe form of ICP has remained and diseases with life difficulties have worn out Lidiya Alexandrovna. Despite the extreme poverty of this small family, the housewife does not complain, though daily household routines and caring for the paralyzed boy take a lot of physical strength while she herself has a bunch of health problems. A miserable pension and lack of assistance have not broken these courageous people but vice versa enforce them to be content with little.

To simplify their hard life, we as usually bought a stock of non-perishable food: cereal, sugar, breadstuffs, butter, tea and so on. Also our Foundation devoted some funds for remedies and key needs. It will allow the grandmother and her grandson not to feel acute need at least for some time.

For us, the old woman’s tears of gratitude are more eloquent than words.

There are No Obstacles for Creativity

There are No Obstacles for Creativity On Friday, June 15, the results of the Shynbergen Amanturlin Republic Contest of Folk Applied Arts Among Young People with Limited Capabilities, organized by Eldany Charitable Foundation, were summed up.

The commission was presented with crafts of clay, felt, paper, leather and beads, pictures performed in Batik technique, embroidery patterns and many other exhibits. The viewers were filled with admiration for the talent and zeal of the competitors.

Within ten months, from August to June, at exhibitions, fairs and city festivities Almaty dwellers and visitors of the southern capital could see beautiful works and appreciate unique talents of “distinctive” boys and girls. The voting was available on the website of www.eldany.kz where everyone had a chance to evaluate the article he liked.

The presentation of awards of the winners took place in solemn atmosphere of Rixos Hotel. Our Foundation which gives partner’s support to Eldany in the frame of the Project “Decent Life for Disabled People”, could not leave this event without attention. The President of Saby established the prize fund in the amount of 140,000 tenge, which was equally shared among all the award winners.

This contest, which is held annually and has become traditional, helps young people with limited capabilities not only reveal their talents but find potential clients and investors as well.

Visiting Nikita

By | Targeted assistance

Over the last eight years the “Saby” Foundation has been assisting Nikita Bazolev and his grandmother, who faced severe challenges. On pages of our web-site we have repeatedly written about difficulties that have befallen these people.

Each year, visiting a small but friendly family of Nikita Bazolev we are always surprised at their inexhaustible strength of spirit. During our regular visit Nikita was on a walk, and his grandmother, as always, was doing domestic cares. The realization of the fact that she is the last support for her grandson gives Lydia Alexandrovna energy: an old woman, who is well past eighty, is active as best she can in spite of severe hypertension, which constantly reminds of itself.

As in previous years, we have given to our mentees foodstuffs and a sum of money sufficient to purchase medicaments. This little help will allow Nikita and his grandmother not to feel an acute need at least for a time.

Visit to Sponsored Family

By | Targeted assistance

Over many years, the employees of Saby Foundation have been visiting Nikita Bazolev and his grandmother both being in not simple living situation.

From the very birth, the lad is wheelchair-bound – he suffers from a severe form of ICP, and the old woman, after the death of his father, remained the only loved one for Nikita and, notwithstanding her rather advanced age and a plenty of diseases, she still takes care of him better than any sick attendant.

Every year, our Foundation gives assistance to this family as their modest pension is hardly sufficient for necessary things.

In addition to a small sum in cash, we’ve brought food products such as: cereals, sugar, butter, vegetables, fruit and others.
