Congratulations with the International Children’s Day! International Children’s Day is a holiday awaited by kids with the same impatience as the New Year or Birthday. Parents arrange for their babies outdoor walks, fun events in the parks and squares, entertainment and treats.

Orphans and children from poor and socially vulnerable families do not remain without attention either. There are many wonderful events and activities with concerts, contests, entertaining games and gifts for them with the support of local governments, non-profit organizations and private sponsors. Each child should have memories of a happy childhood.

Through its activities, our Foundation also tries to make a contribution to the health and education of the future generation of our country: the major projects ‘Saby’ are aimed at this.

We want all children to grow up healthy and happy, to learn only with full marks, to do things they love and in the future to become true professionals and worthy citizens of their country.

Farewell to School, Welcome CNT!

Farewell to School, Welcome CNT! Finally the last bell rang and the former schoolchildren all over the country are in for serious trial – common national test paper. 125 questions in five academic subjects will become a kind of a springboard into adulthood.

8-month CNT preparatory courses, where inmates of several orphanages and boarding schools of Almaty studied, are over. Annually the Saby Charitable Foundation organizes and sponsors these courses based on one of Almaty educational centers.

We did our best to help our wards to pass the test paper successfully and enter educational establishments of their dreams. We are looking forward to the examination period and announcement of the results, preferably in three-digit figures.

QIWI Terminals, Saby Foundation–Pass the Baton of Good One of the leading payment systems in Kazakhstan QIWI has informed on its official website, that Kazakhstan people has donated for charity over 203 million tenge in 2014 with their ‘QIWI Purse’and‘QIWI Terminals’, having made 78 thousand payments to charity organizations. These numbers are three times higher than in 2013.

Our foundation is also among the organizations, represented in payment terminal interface. We are glad to notice, that Saby account regularly becomes not big but precious donations from QIWI users.

Unfortunately, we don’t know you, because the donations are anonymous and we have not the possibility to thank every of you personally. But on our website we keep saying thank you for your cordiality, generosity and your wish to help those in need.

They say: ‘Many a little makes a mickle’ – every tenge waits for its time on our account, where a big sum is gathered for a help to someone. This time we were asked by the City Rehabilitation Centre for Children in the city of Almaty, where near 800 children with psycho neurological disorders are being treated every year, to buy the necessary stationery for the learning and treatment process.

Many a little makes a mickle. The sum we gathered allowed providing the yearly (!) stationery for nearly one thousand children for painting, molding, writing, handcrafting and applique work.

The kids from the Rehabilitation Centre have made this present, being grateful for your generosity.

The grand prize is a notebook and the possibility to study free on a grant of the “Alem” Young Talents Support Program in one of the humanitarian universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

70 Years of the Great Victory

70 Years of the Great Victory May 9, 1945, the Victory Day of the Great Patriotic War, becomes more and more distant from us, the number of veterans who saw the awful war decreases from year to year. But the memory about heroes will remain in our hearts forever.

To lay flowers to the eternal light, to remember the heroic deed of grandfathers and great-grandfathers and to tell children about it – is the sacred duty of descendants to the history and country.

SMS to the Rescue

SMS to the Rescue For eight years now SMS project Grant the Gift of Life to Children is are liable and time-proved source of fund-raising for treatment of Kazakhstan children abroad. As of April 16, 2015, within the campaign aid has been provided to 1097 children from all regions of Kazakhstan, 1569 surgeries have been paid for (some children underwent more than one surgery), total amount of funds raised has US$ 9,589,769.
