The Second Housewarming within the ‘Youth’ Project

The Second Housewarming within the ‘Youth’ Project Recently we have been to a housewarming party at the former pupil of one of Almaty orphan homes, being now a participant of the ‘Youth’ project of ‘Saby Foundation’. The girl acquired an apartment within a pool of Zhilstroysberbank. Her spacious one-room apartment is located in a new building in Alatau district of Almaty.

This became possible due to initial contribution of 20,000 USD transferred to the bank by our Foundation within the abovementioned project. Very soon its next participants will cross the threshold of their own homes.

New housewarming is almost on the doorstep.

Montessori Teachers Are in Kyzylorda Now

Montessori Teachers Are in Kyzylorda Now Professional Montessori teachers, working according to the Italian System of Early Development by Maria Montessori the essence of which is to engage a child into self education from his/her early life, started their work in Kyzylorda Orphanage. Recently the third final stage of this educational approach instruction was completed in the affiliated institution of our Foundation.

Saby Foundation defrays all expenses on organization of teaching process of 15 teachers of the Orphanage as well as opening and equipping of the Montessori Center. This seminar as well as previous ones was practical and lasted nearly two weeks. The participants received certificates of early development of children from birth to 3 years old by Eurasian Montessori Center of Pedagogics, Yekaterinburg.

Now the certified specialists can provide and support necessary atmosphere for the development of their little fosterlings, children who left without parental care.

Life Begins Only At 25

Life Begins Only At 25 25-year old Makhmut Razzakov with his parents returned from Turkmenia to Kazakhstan, the historical motherland of their family, several years ago. The whole life he wanted to appear on the halls singing national Kazakh songs to the accompaniment of his dombra. But hard destiny of the so-called repatriates (oralman) made its changes- the boy graduated technical school and started his work in a printing house.

Years passed. If it was not the significant meeting with Saby Foundation the dream about creative career could have left unrealized. The experts of Saby Foundation having held voice trial made the conclusion about the young person: “He is a real national talent and original”. As a result Makhmut received educational grant for the education in the Kazakh National Music Conservatory named after Kurmangazy, on the preparatory course of the Faculty of Traditional Music.

The adherence to your dream is the way for its realization and no matter how old you are. The young dombrist proved it.

Photo Exhibition of Kanat Beisekeyev

Photo Exhibition of Kanat Beisekeyev This week a social photo exhibition ‘I have the right to …’ is held in the Central State Museum. This exhibition is intended to raise awareness of the Kazakh public about the problem of children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD).

Photos for the exposition were made by our ‘Alem’ participant Kanat Beysekeyev, who was awarded by an international grant of ‘Saby’ Foundation in the framework of ‘Alem’ Young Talents Support Program last year to take a one-year course at New York Film Academy majoring in ‘Photography’.

And at present Kanat fufils a serious social order. The organizers are confident that visitors will not remain indifferent to his sincere and keen work.

Shoot a video about your business and tell us how much it is unique, useful to the society and is of interest to investors. In competition there are no restrictions in the area of your activity but preference will be given to already running projects.

Last year the prize fund from ‘Genesis Angels’ totaled USD 100,000. The winner received USD 50,000, and five more participants received by USD 10,000.

This year the budget of the competition doubled! At present Grand Prix will make up USD 100,000! And another five participants with the most interesting ideas will receive by USD 20,000.

Applications are accepted from November 3, 2014, to February 1, 2015 inclusive.
