WHEN YOU HAVE A KNOWLEDGE - UNT DO NOT FEAR Since October we start the new stage of preparatory courses to UNT (Unified National Testing), which, as usually, will last 8 months. Children from boarding schools of Almaty city, who undoubtedly set the goal to get higher education, will start to improve their gained in school knowledge and to master new, more complex, issues and subjects.

The courses organized by Saby Foundation in one of the city educational centers show excellent dynamics from year to year. For example, all children who attended lessons during 2013-2014 academic year entered universities with fellowship. Such results are explained by first strict selection of students, their lofty aims and good level of teaching.

We hope that 2014-2015 stage will become effective and will show the corresponding results in May of the next year when our graduates get necessary points on UNT.

SMS-Help

SMS-Help Health of the child is the main joy of its parents. But unfortunately the disease does not select either older or younger people and our foundation receives numerous cries for help. Jointly launched SMS Campaign “Give Children Life” by ‘Mercy’ Volunteer Society and ‘Saby’ Foundation aimed at the effective treatment of children abroad already works for 7 years. It is gratifying to see that the number of those, who got help, approached the thousand mark, during the whole period 1367 operations for 982 children was paid.

As of August 25, 2014, the sum of money collected for the project makes up 8,403,372 US dollars.

‘Alem’ now is in ‘Angel’s city’

‘Alem’ now is in ‘Angel’s city’ Last week we sent off to America on the basis of two-year master’s program another Alem’s trainee – Ablaykhan Akhadganov for him to learn in Californian University UCLA, Los-Angeles city to get a degree in ‘electronic engineering’. We consider that there he will unlock his potential of young scientist having plunged into the world of complicated laboratory researches and experiencing new opportunities of the high technologies.

The charity fund ‘Sabee’ besides payment of educational expenses covered all expenses for Ablaykhan accommodation and nutrition. Thus our fund creates all necessary conditions for young gifted Kazakhstani, who get abroad education on the basis of ‘Alem’ program for talented youngsters support, in order they not to be distracted from getting knowledge.

We are confident that Ablaykhan and other youngsters like him soon will create modern highly technological products ‘made in Kazakhstan’, presenting our country in leading market of innovations.

Vacations in Milan

Vacations in Milan Recently 15 foster children from the regional orphanage №1 who had been awarded with the vacation package for the win in open football championship among foster children in Kazakhstan came back from Italy. Prior their trip they applied to the Fund ‘Sabee’ with request to devote necessary funds for their pocket expenses.

We decided that we must help children who were into luck to travel to one of the most beautiful cities of the world. Owing to this help young sportsmen were able to see the famous football stadium ‘Giuseppe Meazza’, they met famous football players, visited museums and architectural monuments and, of course, they enjoyed quite enough in local aqua-park, which was wonderful termination of summer holiday. The travel was complete and very interesting.

Once more we congratulate all children, participated in the championship, and wish them further wins in sport!

A Good Thing Can’t Be a Small Thing

Probable every one of us has repeatedly got into a situation when sorting out their clothes to find quite nice items you for some reason do not wear that much. You don’t simply throw such clothes away because you could still make use of them.

But whom can you give such dressing who will accept used clothes items? That was the question people residing in the capital addressed us.

Having quite an extensive experience we suggested those residents addressing just the right organization – the Regional Public Society Kazakhstan Confederation of the Disabled in Astana. Several pairs of footwear, garments, outwear and other clothes items for everyday life found new masters.
