Saby Again in Temirtau

By | Sport-Health-Achievement

Saby Again in Temirtau Autumn is the season of harvesting and for Saby Charitable Foundation it is the time to sum up annual results of the sport project.

Temirtau city has been a so-called beneficiary of our Foundation for two years already: in 2010, Saby Charitable Foundation donated two Invataxi cars to a local society of disabled people. Today, Regional Boarding School #2 for children with limited capacity is happy to announce that the multipurpose sport ground, which became the third object built by our organization in 2012 and the twenty fifth object within the period of realization of the Sport-Health-Achievements Project, was put in commission in the territory of the institution.

The choice of this school was not accidental. For 45 years of the organization existence, by efforts of pedagogic staff with the direct participation of the government, it was adjusted to the system of correctional education which has all necessary conditions for the growth of personality of a child with special educational needs. The boarding school carries out active sport and health work and many pupils successfully participate in different regional, republican and international competitions where they achieve impressive results, repeatedly winning medal places.

The complex, built by Saby Charitable Foundation as a gift to pupils of the school, as usual is equipped for different kinds of sport such as basketball, volleyball and football. Artificial grass decking and spotlighting along the perimeter allow using the sport ground to the maximum even in bad weather and in evenings of short autumn days. Now, trainings, different competitions are held there every day and joy, fervor and holiday spirit never leave this place.

We invoke socially responsible entrepreneurs and individuals to support our project so that sport grounds will become available in every populated locality of our country!

The Poetry Collection by Young Poets Published

By | Alem – support of young talents

The Poetry Collection by Young Poets Published Creative work always gives a great pleasure especially when you see the results of this work, moreover if you hold it in your arms, it gives you indescribable joy!

Today, we have a new, still smelling of printing ink, edition of the poetry collection of young poets who passed a serious selection as the best in the poetical contests held by Saby Charitable Foundation in 2011 and 2012. The book includes works of 13 young authors distinguished for their talent and original ideas by our expert in the field of literature, a poet, writer, publicist, secretary and the Chairman of Children’s Literature Board of the Kazakhstan Association of Writers Sultan Kalievich Kaliyev.

The Foundation’s employees took up compiling the collection with great revere and care. Its design reflects the core of the Alem Program: huge perennial tree with massive roots nourishing the head of the tree, which spreads broadwise and skyward as if to reach the heavens. The trunk embodies a very ancient sign – a spiral, the symbol of a great creative life power. The position of Saby Charitable Foundation logotype at the bottom of the tree means genuine persistence and permanence in this impetuously changing world, support to all petals – young talents, the white color of which means purity of intentions and the beginning of life journey. Some light-colored petals vary in color, standing out from the main mass, which symbolizes ingenuity, distinction and in some degree the uniqueness of talents. Inhomogeneous complex cover background symbolizes the Universe outside and inside you, flight of thoughts and fantasy. In general, the conception represents the strong link between the past, present and future.

All laureates, all schools, where they study, district education departments will receive as a gift for the Teacher’s Day copies of the book. And to all readers of our web-site we present it in e-version, you can scroll pages of this book here.

We thank all participants of the Contest, wish them good luck and success in creative work, and will be waiting for them next year!

Together We Will Help Arianna

By | Targeted assistance

A few days ago Saby Charitable Foundation was addressed to help a little girl from Almaty. From the letter we learnt a very sad story about a charming baby, born in a young family of the Tsarevs ten years ago, given also a beautiful name – Arianna. The girl grew healthy, clever and active to the joy of her parents. But when Arianna was 4 years old, during an outdoor recreation, she was bitten by a mite. The parents immediately brought her to the hospital but the encephalitogen, which appeared later, for some reason was not found at that moment.

Since then, the time for the Tsarevs was divided between before and after the fatal day. One more year had passed before the doctors made the final conclusion – encephalitis of enteroviral etiology. The girl’s relatives began facing numerous problems, they were more often told unknown medical terms meaning complications as a consequence of the untimely treatment of the infection. The girl’s health is getting worse and worse, every day she suffers, almost does not move, see and speak.

During six years of an unequal struggle with the disease the family spent all savings and sold their property. Besides, not being able to overcome such psychological stress, the couple broke up. The mother was left quite alone and being struck by such sorrow is not able to cover expenses for the treatment.
Our Foundation could not remain indifferent to Arianna’s fate. And though the approved projects of the organization do not involve rendering of targeted support, the management of Saby Charitable Foundation decided to allocate a sum of money sufficient at least for one stage of the girl’s rehabilitation treatment.

We wish the mother not to lose courage and, having strung herself up, to pass this difficult life examination and win.

For those who want to help little Arianna, we post the bank account number specially opened for money transfers or you can address our employees by the contacts given on the website. We thank you very much in advance!

Alem Participants: There Are Ones To Be Proud Of

By | Alem – support of young talents

We continue to introduce to readers our Alem participants who have achieved impressive results in their fields despite their young age.

Alem Participants: There Are Ones To Be Proud Of We would like to introduce to you a beginning but we are sure that a very perspective producer, about whom the world cinematography will talk in future. Medet Shayakhmetov, a second-year student of the Kazakh National Academy of Arts named after T. Zhurgenov, is like a ‘one-man band’ inspiring all around with his energy and optimism. He proves the proverb about the fact that ‘a gifted person is good at everything’. Medet is a diploma winner of inexhaustible quantity of city, republican and international vocal competitions; he goes in for skateboard and beatbox, he is the author of many designer works in the style of graffito, he makes motion graphic art, earns money making promo videos and video clips. But the young man dedicated his life to the profession of cross-cutting filmmaking, the education by which is paid by Saby Charitable Foundation currently, and, telling in confidence, the Foundation considers a question about the continuation of his education abroad.

Alem Participants: There Are Ones To Be Proud Of Also we would like to tell you about the young poetess Karlyga Temirgali, a new participant of the Alem Program. We got acquainted or better to say ‘found’ this girl in a distant village of Atyrau region during the business trip of our employee which was arranged in order to find new talents in the depth of the country. The verses of the young poetess have been already publishing in the local newspapers and not once sounded in lyrical programs of the national radio. But Karlyga should be developed and get a quality education in order that her teachers’ experience and long trainings will help her to make her skill perfect. The education at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University in the faculty of journalism is the possibility for creative development and professional formation. Our foundation finances this education thus giving support to the student and accepting her as an Alem participant.

Alem Participants: There Are Ones To Be Proud Of And the last one is Timur Aldybergenov. Many of you have already acquainted with his lyrical baritone by his appearances on the great concerts broadcasting on television, the opportunity of participation in which was afforded by Saby Charitable Foundation. Also Timur as a part of MEZZO band reached the final and became the second finalist in the singing TV show ‘X-factor’. Natural charm and a great voice of the vocalist fascinate almost all. The young man studied classical singing at the Kazakh National Academy of Arts named after T. Zhurgenov on account of our sponsor support. Recently we have learned that Timur dreams about cinema. No sooner said than done: Akhan Satayev, an honorary expert of the Alem Program and famous Kazakhstan movie director invited him to a movie test. Dreams come true!

52 Cars at Invataxi Kazakhstan Car Fleet!

By | Decent life for Disabled Persons

52 Cars at Invataxi Kazakhstan Car Fleet! When you are waiting for something, time goes so slowly. For a wheelchair-bound invalid, dreaming, perhaps, for the first time after many years of imprisonment in his/her own home, to leave his/her home and to make a trip round the city, to give a look at new buildings of already hardly familiar streets or to slightly touch withered but alive leaves, such expectation will become quite intolerable.

It takes long half a year from the date of signing of Invataxi Service Development Agreement in a populated locality till the receiving of cars granted by Saby Charitable Foundation. It will take precisely such period of time to purchase and re-equip cars at the plant in Germany where special hydraulic lifts are installed which release a person in a wheelchair, getting into the car, from the dangerous necessity of changing a seat.

Six months from the moment two Volkswagen Caddy cars were purchased for Almaty Society of Disabled People, at last passed. The cars passed customs clearance, formalities at the State Automobile Inspection and enlarged Kazakhstan specialized car fleet for disabled people established by our Foundation in 2008. Now there are already 52 invataxies functioning in 16 cities of the country.

This long-awaited event was realized thanks to the support of KazRosGas LLP which by its non-indifference and readiness to render assistance to people in need has repeatedly proved its social responsibility. Having entrusted funding amounts to Saby Charitable Foundation, KazRosGas LLP took part in the Project ‘Decent Life for Disabled People’ and gave many Kazakhstan people who, by a quirk of fate is bound to a wheelchair, the opportunity to feel freedom of movement.

Thank you, KazRosGas!
