Zhassulan Sydykov, a participant of the “Alem” Programme for the support of young talents since 2010 and a student of the Conservatory named after Kurmangazy at the expense of our Foundation, has been presented a set of professional music equipment from the “Saby” Foundation for self-study in his spare time.

Now Zhassulan does have to join the queue to the instrument in the morning as many students do – during the whole period of education he will be able to devote more time to his creative development.

It is significant that the “Saby” Foundation renders integrated comprehensive support to participants of the “Alem” Programme and does not confine its involvement only by one-time financial payments.

The “Saby” Charitable Foundation has accepted enthusiastically a proposal from Timur Bekmambetov to establish a partnership in the Contest of scenarios, which we have already written about on pages of our site, as the tasks of this Contest are in consistence with the objectives of the Alem Programme. The Foundation’s work in the project will consist in accumulating and sorting the information, ensuring communication links with candidates, as well as organizational functions.

On March 24, Almaty hosted a press conference dedicated to the start of the Contest. It was noted that it was confined to the Festival “Neskuchnoye Kino” Astana that took place annually in the capital of Kazakhstan in early July. Besides our compatriots, scenario writers from the United States, England, France, Spain, Korea and Russia will be able to compete for victory. Submitted works will be judged by a professional jury composed of the best world actors, directors and producers.

All people who want to essay their powers in a big movie are invited to take participation. To do this it is necessary only to read some of the terms and leave an application at www.astanafestival.kz or www.alemthebig.kz .

We are confident that this project will be a breakthrough and a new star opened by the Bazelevs Company with our modest participation will rise above the horizon of the world cinema.

Kazakhstani people now have the opportunity to take part in the world Action Film Screenplay Contest. The brightest ones will get a chance to cooperate with the Company of famous film director Mr. Timur Bekmambetov “Bezelevs”.

The contest is conducted in the framework of the Second Annual International Action Film Festival. Its purpose is to nurture the best and brightest aspiring filmmakers and writers.

The initiator of the contest is Mr. Timur Bekmambetov.
In Kazakhstan the contest is conducted with support of Akimat of Astana city and Support program of young talents “Alem” of the “Saby” Charitable Foundation.
