The opening of multifunctional sport ground, built on account of Saby Charitable Foundation in the territory of boarding school No. 4 for children with ear problems in Semei city on the 20th of September, turned into a real holiday. The present event was included into the city program of 100-anniversary celebration of Kazakhstan football, with a view of which the city was overtaken with football ethereal during 3 days.

Fosterlings of the boarding school tested the new sport ground already before its official opening and stayed very happy. Young sportsmen liked the modern cover “artificial grass”, which is not hazardous as asphalt and does not kick up dust as ground. And indeed, it is nicely to glance at the ground transformed beyond recognition.

Notwithstanding the cold weather, pupils, teacher, honored guests of the institution gathered on the new athletic field on the day of presentation. The especial admiration was focused on the veterans and players of famous football teams.

The red ribbon was solemnly cut, multicolored symbolic balls were set flying to the sky and many good wishes and congratulations were told to children and all Semei citizens. Especial gratitude was expressed to Saby Foundation for such wonderful present for the city. By the way, the present sport object is the 29th in succession, built by our Foundation in the territory of Kazakhstan and the 5th one, built exactly in the East Kazakhstan Region.

The logical continuation of the holiday became the whistle of the referee, which meant the beginning of the XIV Tournament of mini-football among the fosterlings of boarding schools, traditionally held in the territory of boarding school No. 4 year by year.

We wish success and support all. We are for the beautiful sport!

One month hardly had passed when Saby Foundation reported about the completion of sports ground construction in Boarding School No. 8, Semei city. The foster children of Boarding school No. 4 for deaf children of this eastern city received analogical present.

Sport and health are inseparable, this is an invariable truth, that is why, what is gladdened especially is the fact that children with health problems not only refuse from trainings but have significant successes in playing sport games. We noticed that the main love of young Semei residents is football. Competitions between teams from different social institutions are held in the territory of boarding school. Young football players gathered from the whole city to demonstrate their skills.

Even earlier, play on bare ground in clouds of dust did not frighten young sportsmen, what we can say today, when they have modern professional sports ground with special artificial surface, 4 meter fencing and spotlighting which allows to train in evenings.

Not only football players are happy: amateurs of basketball and volleyball were not forgotten, the sports ground is universal, it is easy to remove gates, to put stances and net and the sports ground will be transformed for a new play.

This is a ‘jubilee’ construction, the 30th in succession, built by our Foundation within the frameworks of “Sport-Health-Achievements’ Project. Boarding School No. 4 became the 20th institution which received from Saby Foundation sport object and Semei is the 10th city of Kazakhstan where our project is functioned. Then it is difficult not to believe in numeral magic.

In Semei boarding school No. 3 for blind and visually impaired children the new playground complex, built by Saby Charitable Foundation, with ‘climbing walls’, ‘walking area’, swings, slides, benches, rockers and so on has been opened.

School years for a child are the time of active growth and development, but for visually impaired children this period is the main period of their life, when they study at specialized training under the constant supervision. One of the major tasks of the school is the development of household physical skills; such children are studied to walk, to go up and down the staircase, to run, to jump and to dance.

When we got acquainted with the boarding school, it became clear that there was no place for foster children to develop in full rate. The decision was made to support the institution and to build for children special sport playgrounds and to equip places for relaxation.

Now, ‘simple’, but very important exercises children can do in the open air and in the form of game learning the outside world actively.

In 2013 Kazakhstan football celebrates its 100 anniversary. Football in our country started from Semipalatinsk. According to surprising set of circumstances all three sport objects, built by Saby Foundation this year, are placed in Semei too.

The first object, a universal playground for five-a-side, basketball and volleyball, has been put into commission in Boarding School No 8. As other similar objects, built by the Foundation in other regions of the country, the object became not only significance contribution in the infrastructure of the city, but a real decoration of the city architecture: emerald artificial grass, fencing on perimeter and searchlight gave the territory of social institution more beautiful and modern look.

Foster children of the boarding school are very joyful to receive such present. They connected their sport life with football long ago and participate in city and region competitions successfully. Now, children can achieve better results having such professional ground. All the more, they have perfect examples to follow, after all Kairat Kazakhstan football team was awarded with UEFA cup this year, the most honorable football prize.

In 2013 Sport Project of Saby Charitable Foundation plans to become a record project according to the quantity of constructed objects, the amount of expended sums and the term of works execution. Foster children from 4 social educational institutions of Kazakhstan will be granted with new sport buildings by the beginning of academic year already.

Three of the objects will be constructed in East Kazakhstan Region: multifunctional playgrounds for football, basketball and volleyball are planned to be built in one of the orphanages and in one of the boarding schools of Semey city. Also ‘Ksil’ Children Playground will be constructed in this city. People of Semey were very active in managing of the cooperation with Saby Foundation. Timely appeals to the Head of our organization, distribution of requests for construction and patient expectation have led to the long-awaited results.

The fourth object will supplement athletic equipment of Almaty city. A modern sports hall will be built and equipped in one of the secondary schools of the city. Involvement of highly proficient experts to the project development and construction works execution will allow to build the object which will become a significant point on the map of sport architecture of the south capital.

So, the 11th anniversary of Saby will be marked by perfect results in Sport Project: 30 sport objects for 20 children from social institutions of 10 cities of Kazakhstan will be built by our Foundation.

Taking care of rising generation, Saby Charitable Foundation has been for many years developing its sport project as physical trainings and outdoor games is the guarantee of children’s health, energy and cheerful mind. That is why the construction of play and sport grounds for children by our Foundation do not lose its actuality especially in social institutions where orphans and children from vulnerable families are raised whose inexhaustible energy needs to be directed to a right way.

Regular, the twenty-sixth sport object (KSIL playground is the tenth in succession) is constructed to the joy of little inmates of the Child Care Center of Kyzylorda city. The equipment is installed in the territory of the new building of the institution being constructed by our Foundation at the present time. We hope that children seeing endless flight of steps, swings, slides, whirligigs, garden houses, rocking chairs, will be delighted. It is known that children are thankful but exacting, monotonous elements bother them quickly. That is why it is insufficient to buy just a sandbox or a bench: they want something special, bright and colorful; we tried to guess precisely desires of every child.

Such firework of emotions became a reality thanks to our wonderful friend and true philanthropist KazRosGas LLP. This company, the high social responsibility of which is doubtless, not only financed the construction of playground but diverted a great sum in support of the construction of the Child Care Center building. The best way to express appreciation to KazRosGas is a sincere joy in the eyes of little urchins!

Autumn is the season of harvesting and for Saby Charitable Foundation it is the time to sum up annual results of the sport project.

Temirtau city has been a so-called beneficiary of our Foundation for two years already: in 2010, Saby Charitable Foundation donated two Invataxi cars to a local society of disabled people. Today, Regional Boarding School #2 for children with limited capacity is happy to announce that the multipurpose sport ground, which became the third object built by our organization in 2012 and the twenty fifth object within the period of realization of the Sport-Health-Achievements Project, was put in commission in the territory of the institution.

The choice of this school was not accidental. For 45 years of the organization existence, by efforts of pedagogic staff with the direct participation of the government, it was adjusted to the system of correctional education which has all necessary conditions for the growth of personality of a child with special educational needs. The boarding school carries out active sport and health work and many pupils successfully participate in different regional, republican and international competitions where they achieve impressive results, repeatedly winning medal places.

The complex, built by Saby Charitable Foundation as a gift to pupils of the school, as usual is equipped for different kinds of sport such as basketball, volleyball and football. Artificial grass decking and spotlighting along the perimeter allow using the sport ground to the maximum even in bad weather and in evenings of short autumn days. Now, trainings, different competitions are held there every day and joy, fervor and holiday spirit never leave this place.

We invoke socially responsible entrepreneurs and individuals to support our project so that sport grounds will become available in every populated locality of our country!

Saby Charitable Foundation extends its activity far beyond Almaty – to all regions of Kazakhstan. Beneficiaries of Saby are both individuals and organizations. Among them there is Aktobe Regional Rehabilitation Center in Alga town. Children with mental retardation, infantile cerebral paralysis, musculoskeletal abnormalities, speech impediments, and those having difficulties in learning as a result of neuropsychiatric disorders are raised here.

It is important to note that about four hundred children have improved their health during three years of the Center’s activity and all those who took a treatment course have made notable improvements in physical and mental state as well as in social adaptation.

In order to provide necessary conditions for physical exercises and outdoor recreation of little patients, the Foundation decided to equip the children playground in the territory of the medical institution with the following facilities: swings, turnarounds, rocking chairs, tables and benches, a big jungle gym and a sand playground which are specially designed with account of specific needs of users.

The assembling of this modern facility was carried out within the frame of the Sport-Health-Achievement Project. The object in Alga has been the second one implemented out of the four scheduled projects of this summer/autumn season. As soon as it is put into operation, employees of the institution will have new possibilities to perform complex recovery procedures and the number of recovering people will undoubtedly increase.

These warm August days, our whole country is in euphoria from sports fever. This is thanks to the talented sportsmen representing Kazakhstan in the 2012 Olympic Games. Watching daily the competitions in London, we enjoy wonderful performance of our athletes, one by one making world records and winning medals of the highest value.

Saby Charitable Foundation, constantly aspiring for the improvement of social standards of living, aims at the development of the culture and potential of younger generation by accustoming young people to a healthy life-style and physical activity.

No wonder that one of our priorities is the ‘Sport-Health-Achievements’ Project, the main goal of which is the training of worthy representatives of the national sport. We truly believe that already now future champions are trained in the buildings constructed by Saby Charitable Foundation and we will be proud of their future achievements on the world sport stages.

The multipurpose sports ground for football, volleyball and basket-ball games in Semei city, delivered several days ago, is our successive, the twenty-third contribution to the development of Kazakhstani Olympic movement!

Summer is traditionally the time for the implementing of Saby Charitable Foundation’s Project ‘Sport-Health-Achievement’. This summer will be marked by the construction of four objects in children’s social institutions of Semey, Temirtau, Kyzylorda and Algi cities in Aktyubinsk region.

We will report about the construction of playing courts in the west of Kazakhstan later, for now we would like to share the progress of work on sports facilities installation in Semipalatinsk and Temirtau correctional boarding schools.

Over 120 fosterlings live and study in the boarding school of the metallurgist’s city. Young athletes take an active part in city, regional, republic and international contests for children with disabilities and regularly please their supporters with winning places. The sportsmen’s potential is also high but the lack of a simply equipped gym limits the children preventing them from training in full force.

Although the auxiliary boarding school in Semey City has a gym, it has become so dilapidated since the school opening in 1969 that it meets neither the sanitation rules nor safety requirements.

Multifunctional sports grounds constructed by our Foundation have their own long-standing, maybe even ‘brand’ appearance, and provide the possibility of playing minifootball, basketball and volleyball. Their construction in the territory of social institutions will enable to conduct outdoor physical education classes, organize contests, contribute to children’s and teenagers’ health strengthening and give them an impulse to new sports achievements.

The facilities are to be commissioned by the beginning of the new school year.
